About the Role
Provide on-site technical support to our clients, identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and explain complex technical issues in an understandable manner.
Relay information and report issues to the engineering team at HQ, ensuring a smooth flow of information.
Coordinate with the engineering team to implement solutions and rectify problems.
Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive and reactive measures.
Provide training to customers on how to effectively use our products and services.
Stay updated on the latest products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to clients.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar customer-facing technical support role.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Extensive knowledge of MikroTik RouterOS, including router configuration, firewall, VPN, bandwidth management, and network troubleshooting.
Able to design and set up office networks from scratch, including LAN/WAN infrastructure, routing, switching, wireless configuration, and internet connectivity.
Knowledgeable in configuring and managing wireless access points and networking devices such as Ubiquiti, Ruijie, and similar brands.
Extensive knowledge of Multi-Function Printers (MFP), including setup, troubleshooting, scanning, network printing, and maintenance.
Knowledgeable in CCTV systems, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IP camera systems and NVR/DVR devices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-centric attitude.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts and issues to non-technical users clearly and professionally.
Experience coordinating with internal engineering or technical teams to resolve escalated issues efficiently.
Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
Willing to undertake a probation/training period in Pekanbaru.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively under pressure.
