About the Role
As an IT Compliance Intern, you will provide administrative support to ensure our systems and processes align with international standards and local regulations. You will assist in maintaining the documentation and frameworks required for our security posture.
Policy & Standards Administration: Assist in developing and organizing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures aligned with Indonesian regulations (PDP Law, BSSN regulations) and SNI ISO/IEC 27001.
Audit & Assessment Support: Support the team in conducting regular security assessments and tracking remediation plans to minimize risks.
Compliance Reporting: Help compile data for regular reporting to leadership regarding compliance status, risk assessments, and incident metrics.
Security Awareness Coordination: Assist in conducting security awareness training to promote a security-conscious culture across the organization.
Vendor Management Support: Assist in the evaluation and management of security vendors and tools.
Framework Implementation: Support the implementation of security controls based on frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and COBIT.
Requirements
Undergraduate student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong task management skills to handle complex documentation, track audit findings, and meet strict compliance deadlines.
Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change, with a preference for startup or high-growth tech company environments.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to document findings and communicate technical concepts in fluent English.
Understanding of security frameworks and standards including ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework is a plus.
Familiarity with Indonesian data protection and cybersecurity regulations, including PDP Law and BSSN requirements is a plus.
Experience or interest in agri-tech, fintech, or supply chain platforms is a plus.
