About the Role
The candidate’s responsibility will be to work closely with VP Operations and Senior Agronomist. You will lead the development and commercialization of a scalable, profitable, affordable and competitive specialized services tailored for oil palm smallholders. Your aim will be to empower smallholders, boost their productivity, and drive profitability through our game-changing solutions.
You will be responsible to:
Develop new and innovative services and oversee the implementation of existing service offerings, including agronomy services, leaf sampling, fertilizer recommendations, and training centre.
Collaborate with agronomy experts to ensure our services are based on the latest scientific research and are tailored to the specific needs of oil palm smallholders.
Design and execute scalable, affordable and competitive business strategies, market and sell services to smallholders, focusing on value proposition and customer satisfaction.
Manage the service delivery team to ensure high-quality and efficient service execution.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services, making adjustments to offerings as necessary to meet revenue and profitability goals.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including smallholders, industry experts, and governmental bodies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Business Administration, or related fields.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the agriculture industry, with a strong preference for experience in the palm oil sector.
Proven track record in developing and managing agricultural services with a focus on commercial success.
Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in tropical agriculture, especially in oil palm cultivation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
Placement permanent in Pekanbaru City, and willing to travel across all provinces in Indonesia.
