We are looking for a proactive and dependable intern to support the implementation of our agricultural programs in Jambi. These include Toko Keliling—a mobile fertilizer distribution initiative—as well as ramp partnerships, fertilizer consignment, and other local programs.
This role is suitable for a final-year student or fresh graduate who wants hands-on experience in field operations, agricultural distribution, community engagement, and partnership management. The intern will work closely with the local project team and regularly participate in field activities.
Field Operations
Assist with the day-to-day implementation of the Toko Keliling program and other ramp partnership initiatives in Jambi.
Support the preparation and execution of field activities, including schedules, routes, materials, and logistical arrangements.
Help monitor fertilizer availability, distribution, consignment activities, and relevant field transactions.
Coordinate with farmers, ramp partners, fertilizer partners, local stakeholders, and other program participants when required.
Identify operational issues in the field and communicate them promptly to the project team.
Data Collection and Reporting Administrative and Team Support
Collect accurate field data through interviews, observations, surveys, transaction records, or other agreed methods.
Maintain complete and organized records of field activities, program participants, stock movements, and transactions.
Enter, clean, and update program data using spreadsheets or other reporting tools.
Prepare regular field updates, activity summaries, and supporting documentation.
Help document field activities through notes and photographs, subject to the organization’s guidelines and participant consent.
Administrative and Team Support
Assist with meeting arrangements, partner visits, documentation, and follow-up actions.
Organize program files, receipts, forms, agreements, and other administrative records.
Provide on-site support to the local project team during program activities.
Perform other reasonable duties related to the implementation and improvement of programs in Jambi.
Kualifikasi
Final-year student or recent graduate, preferably in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Community Development, Logistics, or a related field.
Interested in agriculture, rural development, distribution operations, or partnership-based programs.
Comfortable working in the field and travelling within Jambi.
Able to communicate clearly and respectfully with farmers, partners, community members, and internal team members.
Organized, responsible, and attentive to detail.
Able to work independently while following instructions and meeting agreed deadlines.
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and basic digital communication tools.
Able to prepare clear written activity updates and maintain accurate records.
Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia. Familiarity with local communities or languages in Jambi would be an advantage.
Available for an internship of approximately [three/six] months.
