About the Role
Summary:
The Event Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in the promotion and execution of events related to a digital loyalty platform specific to the Palm Oil Industry, with a focus on the Upstream and Midstream sectors. This role involves planning and coordinating various marketing activities, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and industry networking events. The Event Marketing Coordinator works closely with cross-functional teams, industry partners, and stakeholders to ensure successful event experiences that drive engagement and enhance the platform's visibility in the market.
Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Execution: Plan, coordinate, and execute events aligned with the marketing strategy and objectives of the digital loyalty platform in the Palm Oil Industry. This includes identifying suitable events, managing event logistics, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely execution.
Event Marketing: Develop and implement event marketing campaigns to promote events and generate attendance. Utilize various channels, such as email marketing, social media, and industry publications, to maximize event visibility and attract target audiences.
Collateral and Content Development: Create event-related collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and promotional materials. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling event content, including speaker profiles, session descriptions, and educational resources.
Industry Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with industry associations, organizations, and influencers. Actively participate in industry networking events and build strategic partnerships to expand the platform's reach and enhance its industry presence.
Event Analysis and Reporting: Measure and evaluate event performance through post-event analysis. Analyze metrics, such as attendance, lead generation, and attendee feedback, to assess event success and provide insights for future event planning and optimization.
Budget Management: Develop event budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to allocated budgets. Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, venues, and service providers to maximize cost-effectiveness.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team, sales team, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure event strategies align with overall marketing and business goals. Coordinate with internal teams to secure speaker participation, organize product demonstrations, and provide event support.
Project Management: Effectively manage multiple event projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and budgets are met. Employ project management methodologies to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve overall event experiences.
Requirements
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in event management are a plus.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in event planning, event marketing, or related roles. Experience in organizing and executing events within the Palm Oil Industry or a similar industry is highly desirable.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Palm Oil Industry, specifically the Upstream and Midstream sectors. Familiarity with industry events, trade shows, conferences, and key stakeholders is preferred.
Event Management: Demonstrated experience in event planning, logistics management, and execution. Proven ability to handle multiple events simultaneously, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Marketing and Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling event content and effectively communicate event details to diverse audiences. Proficiency in social media marketing and email marketing is desirable.
Relationship Building: Strong networking and relationship-building skills to engage with industry partners, vendors, and event participants. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Analytical and Reporting Abilities: Proficiency in analyzing event data, generating reports, and extracting actionable insights. Strong attention to detail in tracking event metrics and measuring event success.
Budgeting and Financial Management: Experience in event budget development, expense tracking, and contract negotiation. Ability to manage budgets effectively and maximize cost-efficiency.
Creativity and Problem-Solving: Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges, identify opportunities, and enhance event experiences. Ability to think strategically and deliver unique event concepts.
