About the Role
The primary objective of this internship is to ensure the accuracy and quality of the data used to train our AI models, which are central to optimizing operations within the palm oil industry.
Meticulously label, categorize, and tag raw data according to specific project guidelines, contributing directly to several use cases in the palm oil industry.
Apply annotation techniques like bounding boxes, semantic segmentation, or polygon annotation.
Annotate other data types as needed to support different AI models.
Review, validate, and correct existing annotations to maintain high levels of consistency and accuracy across large datasets.
Maintain organized and detailed records of annotated data.
Work closely with the AI and Data teams to understand evolving project requirements and specific annotation standards.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Agriculture/Agronomy, or equivalent practical experience.
Good communication skill
Proactive and results-oriented.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of conscientiousness is absolutely essential for data accuracy.
Proficiency in using basic computer applications and the ability to quickly learn specialized data annotation tools (e.g., Labelbox, Label Studio, CVAT).
Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of quality even on repetitive tasks.
Willing to work from the office (WFO) at Pekanbaru
Able to commit to a three or six-month internship program Preferred (Nice to Have):
Basic understanding of how Machine Learning (ML) models utilize annotated data.
Familiarity with the palm oil industry or general agricultural concepts.
